Конспект урока английского языка в 4 классе

Тема: Дикие и домашние животные.

Цели: развитие навыков говорения по теме «Животные»

Образовательные цели: обобщить и систематизировать знания по теме «Дикие и домашние животные»; развивать навыки и умения диалогической речи, соблюдая нормы речевого этикета; совершенствовать навыки чтения и письма в рамках тематической ситуации, обобщить грамматический материал по теме «Степени сравнения имен прилагательных».

Развивающие цели: создание условий для развития языковой догадки; зрительной памяти, логического мышления.

Воспитательная цель: воспитание любви и бережного отношения к животным.

Задачи: развивать умения и навыки в чтении: учить читать про себя и полностью понимать текст, построенный на знакомом языковом материале, развивать умения и навыки в письме: учить восстанавливать текст, вставляя пропущенные слова, повторить лексические единицы прошлого урока, создать условия для тренировки употребления и усвоения учащимися лексического материала.

Оборудование: раздаточный материал, проектор, ноутбук.

Ход урока:

  1. Организационный момент. Приветствие.

Good morning! Nice to see you again! Sit down please!

  1. Речевая зарядка.

How are you today?

What date/day is it today?

What’s the weather like today?

Do you enjoy this weather?

  1. Определение темы урока.

Why do you think I divided you into 2 teams? Today we will play a little, remember the words and the grammar of the last lesson. Each team will do the same tasks. For each correctly execution of tasks you will receive the points. In the end of the lesson we’ll summarize the points of each team and find out who will win.

Let’s begin our lesson. Today you will be wild animals and domestic pets.

Please, introduce yourselves, according the following plan:

  • Who are you?

  • Where do you live?

  • What do you eat?

  • What can you do?

Well done! And what’s the difference between animals and pets?

  1. Тренировка лексических навыков.

The next task is to find the extra word in each line.

  • a hen, a fox, a sheep, a cow, a horse.

  • a cockerel, a hen, a cow, a duck.

  • a camel, an elephant, an eagle, a monkey.

  • a whale, a fish, a crocodile, a dolphin.



  1. Физкультминутка.

Are you tired? Let’s take a rest! Stand up!

I can hop like a rabbit. (прыгаем как кролик)

I can jump like a frog. (прыгаем как лягушка)
I can fly like a bird. (
летаем как птичка)
I can run like a fo

ходим как уточка)
I can swim like a fish. (
плаваем как рыбка)
And be still as good children - (
и становимся хорошими детками)
as still as this.

  1. Активизация грамматического материала.

In the last lesson you met the grammar “Degrees of comparison of adjectives”.

Choose the right form:

  1. The dog is (smart) than the cat. – smarter

  2. The monkey is (funny) than the parrot. – funnier

  3. The tiger is (strong) than wolf. – stronger

  5. The dolphin is the (beautiful) animal. – the most beautiful

Do you have any difficulties?

If the adjective consists of 3 or more syllables, degrees of comparison are formed in the following way:

7. Развитие навыков языковой догадки. Повторение изученных лексических единиц.

I am from Africa.

I’ve got big (ears).

I am big and strong.

I like (bananas and apples).

I don’t eat (meat).

I can carry things, people and water the (flowers).

Come to the (Zoo) and see me.

I am … (elephant).

  1. Подведение итогов урока.

At the lessons of English and other subjects we often speak about the nature. It’s our common home. It’s so beautiful. I ask you to take care about it and don’t destroy the beauty of our planet!
