CLOTHES

People wear different clothes in different seasons.

In winter people wear warm clothes. They usually put on overcoats, sweaters, hats, mittens and boots. In spring and autumn it’s cool and rainy. People can put on raincoats and take umbrellas. When it’s warm and sunny people wear coats, jackets, gloves, jeans, skirts and shoes. In summer people wear T-shirts and shorts when it’s hot. They can wear sunglasses when it’s sunny.

At school pupils must wear a school uniform: a white shirt or a white blouse and a dark skirt or dark trousers. People like to put on nice dresses or suits for special occasions. I like to wear…

SEASONS

There are four seasons in the year: spring, summer, autumn and winter.

There are twelve months in a year: January, February, March, April, May, June, July, August, September, October, November and December.

There are three months in a season. The spring months are March, April and May.

The summer months are June, July and August.

The autumn months are September, October and November. The winter months are December, January and February.

There are thirty or thirty one days in a month. There are four weeks in a month.

There are seven days in a week. There are three hundred and sixty-five or three hundred and sixty-six days in a year.
