We are all elements of global ecosystem  People have lived on our planet for many years. We may live on different continents and in different countries, but we all depend on our planet, on the sun, on animals and plants around us. We must take care of the Earth but not destruct the wildlife.

The protection of the environment There are many big and small rivers, green forests, high mountains, lakes and seas.

But the problem of environmental protection is urgent today. Through their daily activities people pollute and contaminate land, water and air. If it continues the damage may become irreversible. With the rise of advanced technology, the rapid spread of industrialization and the increase of human populations pollution has become a universal problem. 

Serious environmental problems: 1 Pollution in many forms.; 2 Noise from cars,buses,planes,etc.; 3 Destruction of wildlife.; 4 Limited natural resources.; 5 Rise of population.

 Many species of animals and birds are disappearing nowadays. We cut down trees to make furniture, but we forget that people can’t live without trees and plants. Every little creature or thing on Earth plays its own part and makes our home unique.

  Millions of animals die every year because people have polluted their natural homes. Besides every year people cut down more trees, build more roads, and use more land for farming.

Safe solutions are still needed  One of the biggest eco problems is pollution. The main reason of pollution is rubbish. Most of our rubbish goes to big holes in the ground, called ’dumps’. But dumps are very dangerous for our life, because they are full of rats, which can carry infections away from dumps.

There is no ocean or sea which is not used as a dump.

Many rivers and lakes are polluted.

People throw trash on the sidewalks!

 Another way to get rid of rubbish is to burn it. But the fires make poisons, which go into the air and pollute it. This is the task scientists should get interested in. Such researchers are worth spending money on.

Air pollution in the chain of global destruction  Every year world industry pollutes the atmosphere with about 1000 million tons ol dust and harmful substances. Many cities suffer from smog. Vast forests are cut down and burn in fire. Their disappearance upsets the oxygen balance.

 As a result some rare species of animals, birds, fish and plants disappear forever, a number of lakes and rivers dry up. The pollution of air and the world destruction of the ozone layer is the result of man’s careless interaction with nature, a sign of ecological crises.

People created factories, which smoke and throw wastes into rivers, pollute the environment!

Ecological condition in UAO district and the district of Zyablikovo in particular is extremely negative.

We determine the following reasons: 1 . Close location of intensive transport ways Kashirskoye Highway, MKAD 2 . Close location of industrial zones Kapotnya and oil refinery, combined heat and power plant – 22, incineration plants in Brateevo and Varshavskoye Highway. 3 . Danger to be lost under the garbage mountains created by people.

Science for nature protection  Numerous conferences have been held to discuss questions of ecologically pool regions including the Aral Sea, the South Urals, Kuzbass, Donbass, Semipalatinsc and Chernobyl. An international environmental research center has been set up on Lake Baikal.

 Greenpeace began its work 20 years ago from saving whales. And now Greenpeace is a world-famous organization, which saves plants, animals and people.

Our environment must be clean. What must we do for it? We have to control atmospheric and water pollution, to study man's influence on the climate. The pollution of the environment influences the life of animals, plants and our human life. If we don't use chemicals in a proper way, we'll pollute our environment. 

To solve environmental problems we should…

Here are some ways in which you, your friends and your family can begin trying to save the Earth right now. 1) Try not to waste energy. Don't stand with the fridge door open while you wonder what to eat — make your mind up before you open the door. The fridge warms up when the door is open and it takes extra energy to make it cold again.

 2) Keep yourself informed about environmental problems.

◦ 3) Take as much rubbish as you can to local recycling centers.

 4) If you have a choice avoid buying packaged goods.

 5) Don't waste paper. When you are writing, use both sides of the paper.

 6) Before you buy anything, ask yourself if you really need it. You don't need everything that adverts say you do. Try to avoid buying things you really don't have any use for.

 7) Walk or cycle whenever possible.

8) Never drop litter.

 9) Help to clean up your local environment. There is probably a group in your area which spends weekends cleaning up ponds, rivers, parks and woods. Take some friends along and join the group — you'll have fun as well as helping the environment.
