Вашему вниманию предлагается методическая разработка урока английского языка по теме «Вокруг света», который является одним из завершающих учебную тему «Страны и континенты». Разработка основана на материалах УМК «Английский язык» для 5 класса под редакцией О.В. Афанасьевой.
Тема урока: Around the globe (Вокруг света).
Цель урока: Научить общаться по теме.
Задачи урока:
Обучающая: научить правильно высказываться по теме, используя лексику «Countries and nationalities» и владея конструкцией – there is/are, to be/come from/to be famous for/
Развивающая: развить навыки говорения, чтения, тренировать память и внимание.
Воспитательная: привить интерес к культуре и географической «культуре» стран мира; привить уважение друг к другу и подчеркнуть тему дружбы народов.
Здоровьесберегающая задача урока: предупреждать переутомление учащихся путем смены деятельности.
Форма урока: комбинированный урок.
Методы урока:
объяснительно-иллюстративный;
проблемно-поисковый;
элементы игровых технологий.
Тип урока: урок обобщения и систематизации.
Оборудование:
дидактический материал;
ТСО (экран, проектор, компьютер);
мультимедийные технологии;
перчаточные куклы.

Учитель знакомится с учениками, обозначая тему и цель урока.
Ознакомление с именами собственными: Europe, Asia, France, Germany; со структурными группами:

Фонетическая обработка.
Просмотр видеофильма и выполнение заданий к нему на базе структур there is/are.
Учебный разговор на базе глагола to be и лексике урока. Moscow is in Europe. It is in Russia.

What country do you live in?

Их аудированию. Ответы учащихся на вопросы учителя.

Around The Globe
1. Organization moment is arranged in T-Cl routine. The teacher introduces herself to the class and announces the topic of the lesson and it’s names.
Teacher- Good morning , children. Today we are going to have a journey around the world in a comfortable double-decker, we’ll see different continents and countries, people and other things.
2. Introduction of the proper names and structures and the training.

6. Reading of the text about the English language.
The English language is the most popular language nowadays. It is now the first language of about three hundred and fifty (350) million people, the native language of twelve (12) nations and the official language of thirty-three (33) more nations. That means one in every
seven people (один из семи) in the world speaks English.
The English language has become an international language in the 20th century. People understand each other practically everywhere if they speak English. And you can’t find a job without knowing English.
English is so popular that it has become the 1st language for all kinds of international communication.
English is also the international language of businessmen, diplomats, pilots, sportspeople, doctors, actors, students. It is true, English is now the world’s top language.
