«Health. Здоровье»

An apple a day keeps a doctor away

Good health is above wealth

Early to bed, early to rise

Make a man healthy, wealthy and wise

Цель урока: обобщить и систематизировать знания по теме: “Health” у ребенка с ограниченными возможностями.

Форма урока: дистанционная (посредством программы Skype)

Задачи:

Образовательные: развитие навыков говорения, аудирования, чтения по теме «Здоровье»; отработка грамматического материала по теме «Модальные глаголы» и «Артикли».

Развивающие: развитие мотивации к изучению иностранного языка, навыка языковой догадки, интеллекта, памяти, совершенствование внимания.

Воспитательные: создание условий для формирования ясных представлений школьника о здоровье, заболеваниях; воспитание умения работать самостоятельно.

Ход урока

I. Организационный момент.

Учитель: Good morning, Nastya!

Nastya: Good morning!

Учитель: I’m glad to see you!

Nastya: I’m glad to see you too!

Учитель: How are you today?

Nastya: I’m fine, thank you. And how are you?

Учитель: I’m fine too, thank you.

II. Cообщение цели урока.

Today we’re going to continue working at our topic “Health and illnesses”. We’ll learn different terms and we’ll learn how to behave when you’re ill. You’ll do several exersices on grammar, practice in reading, speaking and listening.

I’ve just sent to you by Skype three proverbs about health. Please read them and translate. By the end of our lesson we’ll have to choose one which can be the title of our lesson.

An apple a day keeps a doctor away (В день по яблоку съедай – здоровье приобретай. Лук от семи недуг. Досл. Ешь по яблоку в день и доктор не понадобится)

Good health is above wealth. (Доброе здоровье, дороже богатства)

Early to bed, early to rise

Make a man healthy, wealthy and wise

(Кто рано ложится, рано встает,

Здоровье, богатство и ум наживет)

III. Речевая разминка (lesson 34).

Your home task was to get acquainted with new words connected with illnesses and health. Did you have difficulties with the translation of the terms? Then let’s check and continue with the task Word Building. Let’s see and do translation of the words. Guess the meaning and check your answers. How do you translate headache, stomachache, backache, earache?

Now please press DID YOU GUESS RIGHT and check. Excellent.

Let’s do task 3. Look at the pictures and say: What illnesses have they got? Use the words from the box.

IV. Развитие навыков аудирования.

Listen to the file in the lesson 33 (37 секунд). It is about a prehistoric woman.

Answer my questions please:

1. What parts of the body were described?

2. Was the prehistoric woman attractive? Why? Why not?

V. Развитие навыка чтения с пониманием деталей.

Open please the task 1 lesson 33. Read the text that you’ve just heard. Pay attention to the details of woman’s appearance.

Translate the text please.

VI. Развитие навыка письма.

Now let’s do written exercise. Please open task 2, lesson 33. You have to express your opinion about the apearance of prehistoric woman in written form and send your answer to me in i-class. I’ll check it and give you a mark.

VII. Итог урока.

Now I think you can tell me which proverb you have chosen as a title of our lesson.

Our lesson is over. I wish you good health and happiness. And don’t forget that “Good health is Above Wealth!”

She was just 4.5 feet (140 cm) tall. She walked on strong muscular legs and flat feet. Her arms were long in proportion to her body. She had a large nose. Her forehead was low (низкий). Her head was large on a short thick neck. Short brown hair covered her legs, shoulders and her back. There was no hair on her stomach. She had big, round, intelligent, dark brown eyes, her teeth were white.
