в 11 классе

План-конспект урока

Тема урока: «Справедлива ли система социального обеспечения? Как живут пожилые люди? Как живёт твоя бабушка?»

Учебная цель:

создать условия для:

• активизации тематической лексики УМК в устной речи учащихся в диалогической и монологической форме в процессе развития иноязычной коммуникативной компетенции школьников;

• формирования умения интерпретировать информацию;

• формирования умения запрашивать информацию с помощью косвенных вопросов;

• расширения словарного запаса.

Развивающая цель:

создать условия для:

• развития умений и навыков учащихся средствами изучаемого иностранного языка выражать своё отношение к обсуждаемой проблеме;

• развития способности к переключению внимания;

• развития способности к анализу и синтезу;

• развития познавательного интереса;

• развития творческих умений.

Образовательная цель:

создать условия для:

• ознакомления учащихся с условиями жизни пожилых людей и ветеранов-инвалидов войны в нашей стране.

Воспитательная цель:

создать условия для:

• воспитания убеждённости в приоритетности общечеловеческих ценностей;

• формирования способности и потребности к решению проблем, связанных с милосердием, уважительным отношением к пожилым людям, ветеранам войны, собственным бабушкам и дедушкам, уважительным отношением к достоинству других людей;

• Воспитания потребности в строительстве общества, способного обеспечить гражданам достойную жизнь.

Учебное пособие: УМК В. П. Кузовлева для 10-11 классов. UNIT 6 (М. Просвещение, 2006).

Учебно-материальное обеспечение:

• компьютер, мультимедийный комплекс;

• электронная презентация;

• аудиозапись песни И. Саруханова «Дорогие мои старики».

Ход мероприятия

1. Оргмомент. Ситуативная обусловленность.

1. Good morning, boys and girls! I am glad to see you here, take your seats and let’s begin our lesson. By the way, children, every day you go to school and somebody sees you off. Well, boys and girls, who usually sees you off when you go to school?

Ответы учащихся:

P1: My mum usually sees me off.

P2: My dad sees me off.

P3: Nobody sees me off.

P4: My Granny sees me off.

Does your Granny live with you?

Do you love her?

P5: Yes, she does.

P6: Yes, I do. I love my Granny very much.

Целеполагание:

It’s a pity I have no grandmother now, but I loved her very much too. Well, children, at our previous lessons we spoke about the system of ensuring the welfare of our citizens, about benefits paid to different categories of people. The problem under discussion at our today’s lesson is How Do Elderly People Live?

Сhildren, what will we speak about?

Ответы учащихсы:

P1: I think we will speak about the life of elderly people.

P2: Perhaps we are going to speak about our grandparents.

P3: In my opinion we will talk about the benefits paid to our grandparents.

2. Речевая зарядка

To begin with let’s remember some Russian proverbs.

1. Если в семье есть старец, в семье есть драгоценность.

2. Не смейся над старым, и сам будешь стар.

3. Молодой на битву, а старый на думу.

4. Седина в бороду- ум в голову.

5. Старших и в Орде почитают.

Do you agree with these proverbs?

Учащиеся объясняют, как они понимают пословицы на английском языке.

P1: I agree with the proverbs because elderly people are wiser than we. They can help with advice.

P2: I can’t but agree because some day we also will become old people, and that’s why we must respect our grandparents.

P3: I think so. In my family, for example, the head of the family is our Granddad. He is clever, wise and we respect him very much.

P4: I like the first proverb. I think such families are really rich. Old people have good experience, as they had lived a long life.

You are quite right!

3. Чтение высказывания с общим охватом содержания.

Ребята, а как вы понимаете такое высказывание?

О государстве судят по его отношению к детям и старикам.

Ребята, вы совершенно правы, ведь наши бабушки и дедушки передают нам свой опыт, обычаи, традиции, культуру, оберегают нас от проблем, помогают нам становиться личностями, сохраняют духовные ценности.

Ученик1: я думаю, что если в государстве дети и старики счастливы, значит в государстве всё благополучно.

Ученик2: Дети и старики - самый незащищённый слой общества, и по тому, как им живётся в стране, можно судить о самой стране.

Ученик3: Если тем, кто ещё не работает и уже не работает, живётся достаточно хорошо, значит, у тех, кто заботится о них, есть для этого всё необходимое.

4.Развитие речевых навыков.

Children, what pension does your Granny get?

I am not sure that you know the answer to my question.

When you come home ask your Granny. I don’t think that your Granny’s pension is quite enough. Imagine, that you have a magic stick. What would you do for your Granny?

Ребята рассказывают о том, что они бы сделали для бабушек.

P1: I would buy a new house for my Granny, because her house is old and small.

P2: As for me, I would buy a washing machine, a dishwasher and a new TV set for my Granny.

P3: I think I would buy a house with running water and central heating.

P4: I would make my Granny happy, younger and healthy.

P5: I would make My Granny’s pension bigger.

Children, did your grandparents take part in the Great Patriotic War?

P1: No, they didn’t. But my great grandfather did.

P2: Yes, my Granddad did.

Every year a lot of veterans leave us, because they are very old and ill now. That’s why we must take care about them. Now let’s listen to the text about benefits paid to them and then be ready to answer my question:

What benefits and privileges do the war veterans have in our country?

Учащиеся делают вывод, что жизнь пожилых людей не легка и им надо помогать и заботиться о них.

P2: I think the elderly people are not very happy because they are often sick.

P3: A lot of old people are lonely, they have no friends and their children do not live with them.

P4: I think we must help our grand-

parents.

8. Совершенствование речевых навыков учащихся на основе беседы о домах для престарелых

Сhildren, most of you have grandparents. I see that you love them.

But there are homes for elderly people in our country. What are the reasons for putting the elderly people into such homes? What is your opinion?

Учащиеся говорят о своём отношении к обсуждаемой проблеме.

P1: I think they are put into homes for elderly people because they are unable to look after themselves properly.

P2: They are put there because they are very old and ill and have no relatives or friends.

P3: The elderly are put into such homes because they have bad relatives. They don’t want to look after their old parents or grandparents.

P4: We have been there. We showed a concert for the elderly. They like it very much. We go there every year in October

P5: As for me I have never been there.

P6: I would never put my Granny into home for elderly people even the conditions are very good. I think for old people it is better to live at home with their children.

9. Развитие навыков диалогической речи, активизация грамматического материала (косвенные вопросы)

Now, children, let’s speak about your grandparents. Ask your classmates about how their grandparents live. Begin your questions with:

• I’m interested to know

Учащиеся получают информацию от своих одноклассников о бабушках и дедушках и повторяют грамматический материал (косвенные вопросы).

P1: I wonder, if you have a granny?

P2: I’d like to know how old she is?

P3: I’m interested to know if your Granny is a pensioner?

P4: I wonder where your Granny lives?

P5: I’d like to know if your Granny has financial problems?

P6: I wonder what benefits your Granny is entitled to?

P7: I’m interested to know if your Grandpa is a war veteran?

10. Презентация проектов учащихся о бабушках и дедушках.

Your hometask was to prepare projects «My Granny». Today we are going to listen to your projects. Now it’s time you present them.

Your projects were rather interesting and well done. I find them touching and sincere. I admire your love to your grandparents. But whose project is the best? What’s your opinion?

Учащиеся делают презентации своих проектов о своих бабушках и дедушках. Учащиеся слушают и выбирают лучший проект.

2. Подведение итогов. Домашнее задание

Children, I am sure, that after our lesson you will be more attentive, careful and tolerant to your grandparents. Don’t forget

to congratulate them not only on the 1st of October, ring them as often as you can. Help them and they will be happy.
