Тема: Видатні українські спортсмени

Мета:

освітня: повторити і закріпити лексичний матеріал з теми «Спорт»;

організувати читання тексту «Serhey Bubka,the Great Record-Holder»;

розвиваюча: удосконалювати техніку читання, розвивати фонематичний слух, логічне мислення, довгострокову пам’ять, розвивати комунікативні здібності учнів;

виховна: виховувати патріотизм і повагу до видатних співвітчизників.

Форми роботи: робота в парах; читання ланцюжком; виконання тестів; мозковий штурм; рольова гра; робота з індивідуальними картками.

ОСНОВНА ЧАСТИНА

1. Повідомлення комунікативної перспективи уроку.

As you can see from the pictures on the board we continue speaking about sport, but today we’ll concentrate on the famous Ukrainian sportsmen. We’ll read the text about one of them and do the test on it; you’ll take the interview of one of the famous Ukrainian sportsman and we’ll listen to the information that you’ll find out.

You have cards in front of you/ your task is to work in pairs and group the kinds of sport into indoor and outdoor sports (football, sailing, table tennis, baseball, volleyball, bowling, horse-racing, archery, skiing, surfing)

Open your books at page 175. Who can you see there? What kind of sportsman is he?
