Внеклассное мероприятие по английскому языку

‘’Fruitandvegetablesparty’’

Учитель английского языка: Измайлова А.В.

Цель мероприятия: формировать положительную мотивацию изучения английского языка.

Задачи мероприятия:

• актуализация знаний по теме "Фрукты и овощи";

• развитие речевых и языковых компетенций;

• расширить представление обучающихся об английском языке как средстве взаимодействия с окружающим миром;

• развитие коммуникативной компетенции, включая умение взаимодействовать с окружающими;

• внимательное отношение к своему здоровью.

Материалы и оборудование:компьютер;проектор и экран; карточки со скороговоркой; карточки с предложениями "HiddenFruit; карточки к кроссвордами "MagicSquare"; посуда и инвентарь для приготовления салатов, фрукты и овощи; рецепты салатов на английском язык; бумага, ручки;

Part I

Student 1: Good day, dear guests!

Student 2: Здравствуйте, гостидорогие!

Student 1: A merry party is waiting for us!

Student 2: Нынче праздник весёлый нас ждёт.

Student 1: We have a place and a good word for every person.  

Student 2: У нас для каждого найдётся

                  Исловечко, иместечко.

Student 1: Have a nice time!

Student 2: Веселья вам да радости!

Student 1: Teams, good luck to you.

Student 2: Желаемкомандамудачи.

Student 1: Let’s meet teams.

Student 2: Встречайтекоманды.

Student 1: The first team is «Fruits» (the name of the team)__"

Part II

1. "Tongue-twisters"

Let’s start warming-up. First you try your tongues. I need one man from each team. (Выходятпоодномуучастникуоткомандыпожеланию.) You’retoreadtongue-twisters 3 timesasquicklyasyoucan. (Игроки читают скороговорку несколько раз, готовятся.Побеждает тот, кто лучше и без ошибок справится с заданием.)

Peter Piper picked a peck of pickled peppers.

A peck of pickled peppers Peter Piper picked.

If Peter Piper picked a peck of pickled peppers,

Where’s the peck of pickled peppers Peter Piper picked?

2. «Guessthepoem» (Ведущий читает несколько стихов для одной команды, затем для другой)

Договорки на тему «Фрукты» для первой команды

1. На столе стоит арбуз,

Спелый, сладкий он на вкус.

Разрезаем его смело, —

Время кушать… (watermelon).

2. Грозди сочные висят,

Поспевает виноград.

Вот бы вызрел он скорей.

Виноград inEnglish — (grape).

3. В джунглях всяка обезьяна

Обожает есть … (banana).

4. Мы катались на качели,

Ели вишню, то есть, (cherry).

Договорки на тему «Овощи» для второй команды

1. Тёмно-красный борщ кипит,
В борщ кладут хозяйки  (beet).

2. Мама, мамочка, купи

Нам в стручках зелёный (pea).

3. Говорю, а мне не верят,

Что зайчата любят (carrot).

4. Скучно стало вдруг солдату,

И решил он съесть… (tomato).

3. "HiddenFruit"

Next task is more difficult. It’s called "Hidden Fruit". One fruit is hidden in each sentence. Your aim is to find and underline them all.

E.g.: They attempted to tap each other.

(Задания отпечатаны на карточках, они одинаковы для команд. Команды, выполнив задание, сдают карточки жюри. После чего предложения, с выделенными названиями фруктов, выводятся на экран. Желающие участники читают названия  фруктов и переводят их.)

1. They threw a rope around him.

2. Give me the map, please.

3. You do not much err, you villain.

4. My dear chap, lumbago is very painful.

5. This is the first raw berry I have seen this year.

6. Four angle hosts appeared in the sky.

7. In spite of the ban, an amber necklace was smuggled into the country.

4.  "MagicSquare"

This is a "Magic Square". There are nine fruit in it.  Willyoufindthem?

(1 word=1 point;  дети обводят названия фруктов разноцветными маркерами; сдают жюри.

На экран выводится "волшебный квадрат",  с выделенными названиями фруктов.

Дети зачитывают слова и переводят.)

5. «Сrossword» (разрезать листочек на отдельные слова)

6.«Guess the riddles!» (отгадатьзагадки)

1) It’s red and round. It’s not a fruit. I like to eat it in salad and pizza. (tomato).

2) It is orange and long. Rabbits like to eat it (carrot).
3) It is green, big and round. Rabbits and goats like it (cabbage).
4) It is yellow, small and round. It is not tasty (onion).
5) It is yellow, small and round. People like to eat it (potato). 

6) Green outside, red inside. (watermelon)

7) A ’’boxing’’ fruit. (pear)

8) There are no windows,

There are no doors.

There are many people

In the green house. (cucumber)

7. «Vegetable or fruit» ( Take your envelope with pictures. Разложите фрукты и овощи по тарелкам.Побеждает команда, быстрее справившаяся с заданием)

Приготовлены два стола для нарезки фруктовых салатов. На третьем столе находятся глубокие миски, две салатницы, шесть ножей, две столовых,  две чайных ложки, три-четыре десертных (одноразовых) ложки (чтобы судьи могли оценить вкус), салфетки бумажные, два полотенца, четыре разделочных доски, две чаши с водой для мытья фруктов, два рецепта салатов.

• Dear participants, look at the tableware and the set of products. Couldyousupposewhatyouwilldo?

• Участники высказывают различные предположения.

• You’re wrong / quite right. Captains, please come up to me and take one of two recipes (капитаныберутнаугадпорецепту). You may return to your teams and discuss what is necessary for preparing salads. After that you’re to take all you need. You have to do salads step by step according to the instructions in your recipes. Two members of your team may help you. The judges will supervise your work. Remember, saladsmustbetastyandlooklovely.  

 9. «Funny Questions»

• Dear сhilren! Would you like to continue answering funny questions?

• Withpleasure.

What fruit will keep the doctor away if we eat it every day? (Врач не понадобится, если этот фрукт есть каждый день.) (anapple) What fruit stone did baron Munchausen shoot at the polar bear? (Косточкой какого фрукта барон Мюнхгаузен выстрелил в белого медведя?) (a cherrystone) What has lots of eyes but never sees? (a potato) I’m bright yellow and sour. I’m a prince in the fairy country where fruit and vegetables live. Whatam I? (Я ярко жёлтый и кислый. Я принц в сказочной стране, где живут фрукты и овощи. Кто я?) (a lemon) It’s favourite food of monkeys. (Любимая еда обезьян.) (a banana) If we add an English apple to English pine what is obtained? (Если к английскому яблоку добавить английскую сосну, что получится?) (a pineapple) Maxi-image of mandarin. (Максикопиямандарина.) (anorange)

10. Read poems by heartand sing a song “Happy Fruits.”

1. Two big apples

Under a tree.

One is for you

And one’s for me.

2. Cherries, cherries,

Ruby red,

Want to try one?

Go ahead!

3. Lots of little balls to munch,

Grow together in a bunch.

Carefully picked from the tree,

Tasty grapes for you and me!

4. I walked through the jungle

And what did I see?

Big green bananas

Hanging on a tree.

5. Soft and sweet and almost round.

Color is a greeny-brown.

Eat it with the skin or bare.

It’s a juicy pear!

6. "Give me some honey", says the bear.

"Give me some cabbage", says the hare.

"Give me some corn", says the cock.

"Give me some meat", says the dog.
