Lake Baikal - Lake Baikal is the deepest and oldest lake in the world - It is 636 km long 48 km wide and 1,620 meters deep - It is the Earth’s fresh water reserve

I tried to get a sense of the wonder of Baikal, but its majesty was just too great for words to fit it all. I thought about its beauty and its volume besting all. It’s hard to know just where to start when thinking of Baikal
