Учитель: Hello, my friends. I’m glad to greet you.   As you see, the topic of our lesson is Music; the music we love, enjoy listening to, admire.

  We are surrounded  by the sound of music during our life.  H. Longfellow, an American poet said «Music is the universal language of the world». How do you understand these words?

 Everybody understands the language of music.

 What can you say about the role of music in your  life? 

  • Do you like music?
  • Is music a part of your life?
  • Where and when do you listen to music?

   Music

Music is a door,

An escape to a different world.

A world you make and control in your mind.

 Expressed through song.

The music player,

Is you, the one holding it all together.

Music is an awakening to the real world.

Its lyrics are real and true.

Music is a best friend,

One to give advice when you need it.

Music is what you think of it.

Its starts off empty and colorless,

and escalates to something more,

your own world.

Учитель: Interviewing is fun and useful. It helps us understand people’s tastes. Our girls asked  the classmates to find out  what music  they liked. Please, girls. We are interested in the results of your questionnaire.

Учитель: The girls help us to relax, too.

     They have prepared a game for you. It is called “Name the tune!”

You will listen to a piece of music and answer the questions: What musical style is it?

Who is a singer? What do you know about this singer?

 Учитель: Victoria is known to be an exciting singer and a guitar player in our school. Vika, would you like to tell us about your hobby?

Ученик: The title of my project is «Creative union the «Guitar and Word». My purpose is to give you some information about this union, it’s members, the leader and accommodation. I want to attract your attention to the world of the guitar. The virtuoso of this musical instrument, the leader and the founder of the G and W is K.V.V. He was a manager, a director all in all,  he had good posts in the life. But once he decided to leave his work and connect his life only with his favourite hobby- playing the guitar. The history of his work is really long, but I know that he united many talented, kind and creative people and worked with them. Due to his activity he has many friends from other cities and even from other countries. Every year in April he organizes a big concert in which he, his friends and students take part. There are different styles of music. But V.V prefers bard music. He sings bard songs which are usually accompanied by the guitar. A bard is a person who composes music and lyrics. But nowadays it is possible to say that a bard is a person who loves bard music and who plays it. So the G and W is a group of people who like bard music, play the guitar, have positive ideas and are just kind persons. The approximate age of its members is from 9 till infinity. These people are teachers of our lyceum   who organize different concerts, for example «Dmitrievskaya Subbota». I am a member of the G and W, too because I am a member of the ensemble «Tsarevna Nesmeiana». It is a young ensemble which was organized a year ago. V V usually conducts different rehearsals and maybe that is why we often take good places in different festivals.
