Today is the 28 th of April.

The weather is fine. The sun is shining, the wind is not blowing. It is a nice spring day.

- When do British people celebrate Mother’s Day?

- How do people in Britain usually celebrate it?

- Do British people send their mother’s postcards?

- Russian people celebrate Women’s Day on the 8^th of March. It’s a wonderful holiday. My father gives me and my mum flowers and presents.

- British people celebrate Mother’s Day on the 26^th of March.

- Mother’s Day is on 26 March. People visit their mothers and give them flowers and small presents. If they cannot visit their mothers they send a “Mother’s Day cards”. On this day husbands and children help with the meals and washing up.

- British people send their mother’s postcards with the words:

“ Love you, Mummy very much

So here’s a great big kiss

For the nicest person in the world-

The one who’s reading this!”

5.Let’s do exercises for eyes (минута релаксации)

1. Blink quickly during 10 seconds.

2. Now close and open your eyes slowly.

3. Close your eyes and put your palms on them. Relax and make a deep breath and exhalation.

4. Look at the board and then on your nose. Make it 3 times.

Americans celebrate Mother’s Day in May. It’s on the second Sunday of the month.

Most Americans address their mothers as “Mom”.

Small children usually say “Mommy”.

Traditionally, the mother cares for the children, and the father is the head of the household.

Single mothers face the challenge of raising their children without the support of the fathers.

However, today many families need two incomes, so both parents work outside the home.

Yes, it was very interesting to know about American’s holiday.
