Комбинированный урок – презентация в 6- А классе

по теме: «Лица Лондона»

Цель урока:

Формирование социокультурной компетенции сквозь призму восприятия достопримечательностей Лондона, как достояния британской культуры.

Задачи:

1.Обучающая – совершенствование лексических навыков аудирования, чтения, говорения по теме: «Лица Лондона».

2.Развивающая – развивать память, внимание, логическое мышление и воображение школьников.

3.Воспитывающая – прививать любовь к культуре страны изучаемого языка. Повышать интерес у учащихся к изучению английского языка.

Оснащение: компьютер, экран, проектор, CD диск, компьютерная презентация, раздаточный материал.

Ход урока

І. Оргмомент.

Приветствие.

T: Good morning, children!

Cl: Good morning, teacher!

T: Glad to meet you. How are you?

Cl: Fine, thank you. And you?

T: I am OK, thanks. You see children; we have a lot of quests today. They all are the English language teachers. Let’s greet them.

Cl: Good morning, guests. We hope you are well today.

T: We do hope our guests are quite well today. Sit down, please. Let’s start our lesson.

Беседа с дежурным.

Who is on duty today? Who is absent? What is the date today? What day of the week is today? What season is it now? What is the weather like today?

2. Речевая разминка.

Развитие навыка устной речи по теме «Погода». Со слайда по ссылке переходим на страницу

http:// www.abbeyroad.com/crossing, где в режиме реального времени транслируется изображение веб-камеры, установленной на Абби роуд. Рядом дается краткая информация о погоде. Ученикам предлагается устно ответить на вопросы слайда.


T: Children, do you want to know about the weather in the capital of England? We have a chance! Look at the on- line picture. Now you are in London on Abbey Road. Answer, please, what is the weather like in London today?

    • Is it rainy?

    • Is it sunny or cloudy?

    • Is it windy?

    • Is it warm or cold?


3 Ознакомление с темой урока.

T: Look at the picture. Could you tell me, what will be our topic of the lesson today?

Cl: - I think the topic of the lesson is “London”.

- I suppose we will speak about the sights of London

- To my mind the theme of the lesson is London and its people.

- As I think we will discuss the capital of the UK.

T: You are quite right. The subject of our lesson is “Faces of London”. Today we are having a summary lesson devoted to famous English people and the most interesting places of London.

We ’d like to start our lesson with the words by Samuel Johnson : “Who doesn’t like London, doesn’t like life itself”. This is the motto of the lesson. Lets translate it.

Cl: «Кто не любит Лондон, не любит саму жизнь».

T: Please, think during the lesson what do these words mean?

4. Фонетическая зарядка.

T: As you know London is one of the most beautiful cities in the world. It has a lot of interesting historical and modern places to visit. At first, let’s see some of them.
Look at the pictures and repeat the names of sights of London after the announcer:

E) - London is also famous for its beautiful parks.

London's parks and gardens are really very beautiful. They belong to the British monarchs, but are open for public use. The Royal Parks and Gardens have their own names. What are they? Guess the names, please. What letters are missing?

Hyde Park, Regent’s Park, St. James’s Park, Green Park, Kensington Gardens and some others.

F) Работа с текстом. Развитие навыка чтения.

На экране фото «Tower Bridge» и текст об этом мосте.

T: Friends, we have received the letter from London about Tower Bridge. But rain drops have washed some letters and we can’t understand the text. Will you help us to read it?

Tower Bridge

      • This is Tower Bridge, built in 1894.

      • It is next to the Tower of London.

      • It is one of the famous bridges across the Thames.

      • It opens and ships go up and down the river Thames.

6. Let’s play “What is on the picture?”

T: Do you know the sighs of London well? Then guess them! Would you like to visit them? Use the necessary words:

(As for me…, In my opinion…, Isuppose …, To my mind…, I think …)

(Personally, I would visit…, I would like to see…? I would like to visit…)

(Продолжаем «путешествие». Проверяется, насколько хорошо обучающиеся визуально знают достопримечательности Лондона (страноведческий аспект).

При нажатии на кнопку с правильным ответом, появляется веселый анимированный смайлик.)


7 Развитие навыков аудирования

T: Now we know some interesting places in London. You will listen to the dialogue between two Russian teenagers speaking about London. I gave you worksheets with statements. You have to say if they are true of false. We will listen to the text twice.

T: So, as you can see, the capital of Great Britain is full of history.

11. Развитие навыков письма.

T: On your tables you can see the sheets of paper. Please, write down as much facts or words connected with London as you know. For example, famous people, interesting places, historical events and so on.

12. Заключительный этап урока. (Conclusion)

T: As you can see, London is a great historical and cultural centre of the country. It is one of the largest and the most interesting cities in the world. You have got a lot of interesting and useful information about sights of London. There is so much to see in London that even Londoners can always find new places of interest in their capital. They like to say: “When a man is tired of London, he is tired of life”.

Уч-ся отвечают как они понимают высказывание Самуеля Джонсона:

«Если вы устали от Лондона, значит вы устали от жизни». Это означает, что в Лондоне есть на что посмотреть. И даже жители Лондона всегда когут найти новые , интересные места в своей столице.
